Annual Toys for Tots Flag Football Tournaments
TFFA is committed to giving back to our local community and doing our part to help make the world a better place. Each year, our league and players support underprivileged children in the greater San Antonio area by donating toys through our annual Toys for Tots Flag Football Tournament. Our goal is to help provide children with toys during the holidays and create a joyful and memorable holiday season.
To participate, teams can donate three toys for girls and three toys for boys, or pay a small entry fee. All toys and proceeds are donated directly to the Toys for Tots Foundation.

FOUNDATION OBJECTIVES: The objectives of the Foundation are to help economically disadvantaged children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our Nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to improving communities in the future.
Fighting Cancer With Bottle Caps
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We are doing our part to collect bottle caps at the fields. Please help us in our journey to collect bottle caps by turning in your bottle caps to us before leaving the fields. Our goal is to help provide as many free cancer treatments to kids in Mexico as we can on behalf of TFFA players, families, and friends.
Banco de Tapitas A.C., a charity located in Mexico, emphasizes that every individual has the personal responsibility to recycle and ensure that plastic no longer reaches our oceans. While promoting environmental change, the organization has linked recycling to saving the lives of children battling cancer and in 2021 alone, provided cancer treatment free of charge to 511 patients.
Operating under the motto, “If life gives you caps, don’t throw them away,” Banco de Tapitas encourages their local community to donate their bottle caps either directly to the nonprofit or to volunteer ‘ambassadors’ who collect the caps on the NPO’s behalf. After collecting the caps, the organization takes the supplies to local collection centers. From there, the centers financially compensate Banco de Tapitas to be able to reuse the material in the production of new items such as toys, utensils, even boats – all using the material from bottle caps.
